I was taking pics of Landen sitting on the couch and Olya jumped up there and did this all on her own. Its probably my favorite of the two of them so far.

There arent many pics of Landen and I together, so I grabbed this one last night after he ate.

Emily and my kids have a special bond. Emily, as far as I am concerned, is my sister. It makes sense that my kids would love her so much, she is one of the most darling, sweet and caring people I have ever known. Here she is, soaking up the love... and giving plenty of it out also.

Naps & Pedicures

Easter weekend was awesome. It was full of naps and pedi's, all compliments of my kids' best friend, EMILY! Landen would much rather snooze on his own, unless rocked by Caleb, or so I thought. This shows what a calm vibe and some good old fashioned love can do. Emily got Landen to sleep, about 5 times! We have a lot more pictures, but this is what I have to show so far...

Olya's First Purple Cow

Although we don't let Olya drink pop - AT ALL, we let Nana make her a purple cow recently, which she of course, LOVED! (A purple cow is a float with grape pop by the way)

Impressions 5, Science Center For Kids

The kids are all on Spring Break up here so Monday, the Gewirtz kids, Nana and us Stevens' all went to Impressions 5 Science Center for Kids. It is very similar to COSI in Columbus, but on a much smaller scale. It is in a warehouse downtown Lansing and just full of things that kids of all ages can get their hands into. They make slime, talk about freezing and melting, theres a dark room with all sorts of different lights and strobes, balls, pulleys, a giant heart, mouth and eyeball to walk through and the kids can play with and touch everything! We had so much fun and Olya and Landen both behaved wonderfully.... whew...



The water room! Here, Olya could play, splash and get soaked (AND DID) in all the water she could take! We stayed in this room for probably a half an hour, she could have stayed all day long, but was totally soaked and luckily, we had a change of clothes, it was snowing and 30 degrees outside that day!

This is the little kids room. Of course, she went right for the water in here too and didnt care much about anything else in there!

More From Impressions 5

The bubble room! Olya & friends/cousins got to make all sorts of cool bubbles, square ones, triangles, big, huge round ones and they even had a giant one that you pull up all around yourself! SHE LOVED THAT!!

Landen was SO good that day, he only nursed once and didnt really get to sleep, more than a 20 minute cat nap, but didn't fuss at all, hes SUCH a good baby!

Besides the bubble room, this was Olya's favorite attraction, THE GIANT MOUTH! This is what she talked about the whole ride home and told Caleb all about that night. She went back to this probably 4 times.
