We finally carved our pumpkins last night! Olya had so much fun, except for the scraping part, she did not like that sticky, slimy stuff! We saved seeds to roast and she had the most fun picking those out for us. Daddy helped her with a jack-o-lantern one and mommy helped do one to look like a butterfly, her favorite! (not the pumpkin, just butterflies in general).

A Day At The Park

We went to the park today and Olya just loves it! We have been going a lot lately, trying to soak up these last few 'warm' days. (And by warm, I mean 55, 60 degrees). I thought we should mark it down, since she loves it so much!

Bob Evans Farm Festival

We had a lot of fun at the Bob Evans Farm Festival this year! Granny Great enjoyed seeing Olya so much! She has a scooter and decided to let Olya take her for a ride... bad idea! Although not pictured here, Olya turned up the speed and took off, a little too fast, and right toward the booth! I've never seen my Grandmother look so terrified! She stopped it in just enough time and no one got hurt!

We had frozen cider, and got sausage and apples and got bean soup to take home! MMM!

26 Weeks

When I was preggy with Olya, I took a weekly photo of my tummy, to show my growing belly, so I am going to do the same now, but with Olya in the pic! Here is our first one, at 26 weeks! Here she is hugging her baby brother, from my point of view.

Fall fest '08

Every year, at Papa's and Nana's, sometime in the first couple of weeks in October, they throw a fall fest, complete with hay rides, hot cider and popcorn balls! Olya had such a blast on that hay ride, she probably went through the woods 10 times that night! She really had a blast out there on Papa's trailer full of hay!

Dress Up At Nana's

Nana has a whole hat box, full of dress up clothes that Olya LOVES playing in. Last week, while we were cleaning up from dinner, Olya and Papa disapeared out into the family room. A little while later, Olya came out every 5 minutes and modeled a new outfir for us! This was one of them. The first one, she looks SO grown up! Where is the time going?!?

PUMPKIN TIME!!

Tonight, we went and got Olya some pumpkins, she was SO SO excited! Daddy wanted to get her a 30 pound one, but Olya insisted on getting 'a little one'. Poor Daddy... But Olya got to pick out a bunch of really good pumpkins and we will be carving them this week, well post more pix of that when we get them all carved up!
