BEST FRIENDS!

Olya got a whole 2 weeks with her cousin, William from Virginia. Olya just loves him and he loves his cousin, baby Olya. She just hugged and kissed him and followed him everywhere he went. They rode bikes together, played in the woods together and swam together the whole time he was home. It was so nice to see them so happy together, he is the closest to her age and as much as she absolutely loves her other cousins, I think she felt closer to home, just in size, anyway! Hopefully, we will get to see them again for Thanksgiving or Christmas!

Fun In The Pool!

Olya is really getting use of her bathing suits this year! Just about every time we are at Papa/Nana's, (as Olya says it) she loves getting in the pool! Its just the perfect size for the grandkids to enjoy and small enough that she can get in on her own with one of us keeping watch. Nana has all sorts of fun pool toys for them to play with and tons of froggy goggles that Olya calls glasses, she LOVES wearing those! At the end of the 4th of July week, they all got squirt guns, what a blast they all had with those - yay, Olya knows how to use a squirt gun now...

Having Fun

Olya gets quite spoiled by her Papa and gets ice cream pretty much whenever she asks for it! He does humor me and keeps it to a half a scoop...

Just us

This was shot during our family photo hour, Caleb was leaning weird, so I cut Olya and I out, because I thought it was a very sweet shot of the 2 of us!

Tea Perty 2008

Every year, in the summer, Nana has a tea party with all of the granddaughters. This year, we had a new one to add to the bunch! All though Elizabeth didn't get to enjoy any tea, she did have a moment for this quick photo op with all of the ladies. This is something all of the girls really look forward to once summer rolls around. Poor Olya doesn't understand that it is just once a year though, every couple of days, she asks to "go tea party?" She really had a lot of fun!

The ladies had a wonderful tea party with Nana this year. They had tea, with milk and strawberry syrup, tea sandwiches, tarts and other goodies.

Mrs. Peabody Takes Her Babies For A Walk

Nana has these play glasses and a baby stroller with babies for it that Olya can walk. She takes this responsibility very seriously! She was so funny with this, saying "I walka babies!" and going here and there with them for almost a half an hour. I LOVE the way these glasses just sit on her little button nose!

My First Fish!

Bradley helped Olya reel in her first fish out of Grampa's pond! She did not want to touch it, but was VERY excited about it! Steph tried to get her to kiss it and she wasn't having any of that, although she did 'pet' it.
