Too Funny!

Olya and Daddy have been enjoying 'rockin together lately, it seems the harder and louder the music, for Olya, the better! She loves it! I had to get a video of it to share! ENJOY!!

Christmas Dress #2

Here is Olya's other Christmas dress! Complete with tiny Santa hat!! This was for yesterday at church and she'll probably wear it again for Christmas Eve!

Let It Snow!

Right now, its about 12:00pm. Since about 4 this morning, we have gotten AT LEAST 6 inches of snow, and we still have another 6 in the forcast until 4 pm today! We have another big snow storm thats supposed to hit Sunday also! I think its safe to say we WILL be having a white Christmas this year! Caleb and Olya went out to shovel, to try and keep ahead of it... well, Caleb shoveled, Olya climed the snow hills!

Christmas Dress #1

Olya got 2 different Christmas dresses this year from friends at church - it's GREAT to know so many people with little girls - and this is the 'less dressy' of the 2. She wanted to wear it yesterday for cookie making day, but we decided another dress would be better and that she could wear this one to Church today. I just thought she looked so pretty, I had to get a shot before we left for Church this morning! AND - although you can't see it, she has a little braid in her hair, HER FIRST ONE! It was really hard to do, since her hair is so fine, but it looked really sweet!

Tis The Season!

Here, shes holding her hand up to a hand print ornament that we made her first Christmas, her little fingers are about an inch and a half bigger now!

We got our Christmas tree up this last weekend and Olya had so much fun and was really able to help this year! She is SO excited for 'Santa Clause to come to my house' and to 'light my house up'. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

34 Weeks

Winter Wonderland

Between yesterday, last night and today, already, we have gotten over 6 inches of snow, and it is STILL coming down! I promised Olya that when we couldn't see the grass anymore, that I would let her go out and play and eat the snow. So, here we are and here she is, eating snow... and playing a little in it too! She was so cute out there, it came up to her knees, she kept falling over and needing help to get up!

Our friends have a 3 month old, Sophie, and her room is PLASTERED with monkies (mostly from Curious George) and Olya had a blast playing with them while we were there for dinner last night. (Joe took this with his phone.)

ALL IN RED

We all wore red yesterday, for cousin Amy's 40th B-Day party, just to be cute, here we are. Then, Nana and Papa joined in the RED fun!

Nana found this pumpkin fairy costume on sale after halloween for Olya to play with! SHE LOVED IT!! She ran around the house for about 20 minutes flittering her wings. Check out the slippers!

I took senior photos of a friends kid at church and took Olya with me. They own a huge dairy farm and have all sorts of animals, so I knew she would have a blast. She made all sorts of new friends, got to feed some of the animals and carried cats and kittens around with her the whole way! They even let her take home some feed corn to feed the squirrels here at home. Now, she keeps wanting to go back over there, 'to see the farmer'! It was so much better than any zoo OR petting zoo she's ever been to!

Our Trip to Florida

Here is our group shot! We really had such a nice time in Florida and it was so fun to watch how much Grampa enjoyed Olya and how much she enjoyed him, she got herself a new best friend!

Hello Great Grampa and Granny Bette!

On our trip to Florida last month, Olya and Grampa really enjoyed each other. A Week of Firsts!

Here is Olya: first airplane ride (SHE DID SO SO GREAT!! We all know how 'ansty' she can be) we had one trip to the potty each flight, she made some friends and got extra bags of pretzels just for being so cute! First time seeing palm trees, which she loved and pointed them out where ever we went, and her first trip to the ocean, which she enjoyed, but was nervous of the sharks. In September, we went to Cincy and Chris and Emily took her to the aquarium, she saw sharks and ever since, every time we pass water, she was asking if sharks live there. I had told her, no, sharks live in the ocean, so we actually go to the ocean and she thought we would be encountering some sharks!

Enemies... or friends?

Our friend, Sandy was taking her kids Paul and Audrey trick or treating in the same neighborhood and we caught up with them, we got them together long enough to grab this quick smile! I WAS kind of nervous - WE IN LIVE IN MICHIGAN!!

Trick Or Treat!

Olya got to go trick-or-treating this year for the first time! She got to go with her cousins Robyn, Randy, Bradley and Stephanie and we started at Aunt Tina's house! Aunt Renae was dressed as the Tin Man from Wizard of Oz for work, they did the whole cast! I think the lion was Olya's favorite. We only took her up one block, but her favorite part was picking her own candy, and then telling people that Mommy and Daddy needed some and taking an extra handful, luckily being so young (AND CUTE), people didnt mind!
